# Auto Update Hypixel API

> Use Cookies to Automatically Update Your Hypixel API Key

Latest client has added auto generate API Key using your Cookie.

First, you need a [Hypixel Forum](https://hypixel.net/register/) account and verify email and Minecraft account refer the [API Key guide](/en/features/apikey).

Copy your Cookie from the browser. Press `F12` to open inspect element tools, then find the value of `xfNew_user` and copy it (double-click the value to open edit mode and copy).

After copying the cookie, use the following command in the client to set the Cookie:

```bash theme={null}
.cookie <xfNew_user>
```

Once set, run the client command `.update` to auto generate the API Key.
