Latest client has added auto generate API Key using your Cookie. First, you need a Hypixel Forum account and verify email and Minecraft account refer the API Key guide. Copy your Cookie from the browser. Press F12 to open inspect element tools, then find the value of xfNew_user and copy it (double-click the value to open edit mode and copy). After copying the cookie, use the following command in the client to set the Cookie: 
.cookie <xfNew_user>
Once set, run the client command .update to auto generate the API Key.
